The perfect size, shape and texture for improving your Pilates technique. Soft and flexible, it comforms to the body and provides excellent feedback for core exercises including abdominals, oblique abdominals, back extension and lateral flexion. Strong enough to kneel on, it can also be used as an unstable surface under the torso, foot, or knee. Quickly inflates (up to 12"/30cm) and deflates, to desired level of inflation.

The Gertie Ball is a great tool for giving you a sense of support in order for you to execute the classical mat exercises and a variety of reformer exercises. The Gertie Ball can help clients engage their pelvic floor muscles and effectively strengthen their deep longitudinal system. We need this system when executing many of the more challenging movements but also in stabilizing our spine and pelvis during the foundation exercises. We look forward to seeing how the Gertie Ball can best support you in your movements this month.
