November Equipment: Gertie Ball or Pilates Ball
The Gertie Ball is a great tool for giving you a sense of support in order for you to execute the classical mat exercises and a variety of reformer exercises. The Gertie Ball can help clients engage their pelvic floor muscles and effectively strengthen their deep longitudinal system. We need this system when executing many of the more challenging movements but also in stabilizing our spine and pelvis during the foundation exercises. We look forward to seeing how the Gertie Ball can best support you in your movements this month.
