“We all deserve to move with freedom and ease. Helping people find the freedom and ease of movement is the reason I practice and teach Pilates. Reconnecting with our bodies, honoring the gift our bodies, is a profound healing experience and I hope to help people along that path.” Caitlin Bovée BA & Sci

Caitlin Bovee, Ba & Sc
Studio Director
Caitlin Bovee is a true powerhouse in the Pilates world, a game-changer who’s redefining fitness and rehabilitation. Starting with a passion for sports and dance, she evolved into a leading figure in Pilates, known for her commitment to helping others move better and live healthier lives.
With a Bachelor of Arts and Science from McMaster University, Caitlin began her fitness journey at the age of 18, quickly carving out a niche for herself as a dedicated instructor. Her real journey, however, took a transformative turn at 25, when she experienced a stroke. Instead of letting this challenge set her back, Caitlin used it to deepen her understanding of rehabilitation. Today, she shares this hard-earned wisdom by empowering those who had had similar physical challenges, offering hope and tangible results to those on their own recovery paths.
Her studios, 2 in Guelph and one in Erin, are more than places for exercise—they are thriving community hubs where clients and instructors alike can grow and connect. Caitlin’s influence extends nationally through her role as a Master Teacher Trainer with Body Harmonics, where she mentors and empowers the next generation of Pilates educators and studio owners.
Caitlin’s expertise doesn't stop at mentorship; she crafts personalized, effective programs for a wide range of clients, from stroke survivors to athletes. This versatility comes from her deep understanding of the human body and continuous learning from industry experts like Margot McKinnon, Marie Jose Blom Lawrence, Brent Anderson, Eric Franklin, Tom Myers and many more
In addition to her teaching skills, Caitlin is a savvy businesswoman with a visionary approach, elevating her studios to new heights. Her entrepreneurial spirit and strategic insights fuel success not only for her enterprises but also for those she guides and mentors. Caitlin’s holistic approach to leadership and innovation makes her a standout in the Pilates community.
Caitlin Bovee embodies resilience and forward-thinking—living proof of what happens when passion meets purpose. Her story is an inspiration for Pilates professionals and entrepreneurs, encouraging all to keep pushing boundaries and never settle for mediocrity. Here’s to constantly challenging the status quo and unlocking the potential within us all!

Sarah Kelly
Sarah has been a Pilates instructor at Pilates In Guelph since 2008. Prior to joining the Pilates In Guelph team she had practiced Pilates for almost 10 years. After Sarah's first daughter was born with low muscle tone she became more interested in the neurological benefits of Pilates and was driven to discover a deeper understanding of the mechanics of movement.
Sarah enjoys teaching a variety of different classes and is inspired everyday by her clients to find new and innovative exercises to help them delve deeper into their inner strength and the power of their movements. She aims to not only challenge her clients to reach their individual goals but to also empower them to achieve real awareness on how they bodies move and to celebrate what their bodies can do.

Maeghan Russell
I joined PING in August of 2015 as a part time receptionist. I quickly felt the benefits of Pilates almost immediately. An MRI had showed 2 herniated discs in my lower back resulting in sciatica. Many years of massage therapy, physiotherapy and chiropractors never helped for more than a few days. The pain always came back.
I scheduled myself for 2 private sessions with Caitlin and began to take Mat classes weekly. After 1 month, my pain began to ease and it is now a rare occurrence. Pilates will now be a forever part of my life.
Taught under Caitlin, I have finished my Mat, Reformer and Cadillac Training and love teaching our clients in the studio rooms, not just seeing them at the front desk.

Nicole Bowes
I came to pilates as an extension of physio. I had been active all my life and pain was stopping me from sports, and from fully loving daily life. Daily pain can be draining emotionally mentally and physically.
I experienced first hand how learning good strategies of movement could translate to my daily life. I started to realize that when I lay in bed at the end of the day, flat on my back, there is no strain!
I quickly fell in love with pilates. I fell so I love, that I knew I needed to learn more. I began taking teacher training. Fast forward almost 2 years later....
I’ve immersed myself in learning whatever I can. I have completed level 1,2 and 3, Oov training, prenatal, anatomy and more. I love learning more about my body and others bodies. I love watching people move. I love being able to help people move with greater ease.

Larrissa Ferreras
Larissa's journey into Pilates began through her love of dance and movement. With over 24 years of competitive dance experience in multiple genres of dance, Larissa was led to explore Pilates to help overcome muscular imbalances in her body developed over the years of her intensive dance training.
Pilates allowed Larissa to link breathing, concentration on posture, and flowing movement to create efficient patterns of motion. Pilates creates a platform where you can improve muscle elasticity and joint mobility, while also reducing stress and having fun! Larissa believes that Pilates is key to a balanced body and mind - and most importantly, to a more balanced life.

Aiden Warren
Hey! I'm Aidan, and I have been teaching movement for 8 years now. I started off teaching Taekwondo through high school and university (I'm now a third Dan Black Belt). I attained my Body Harmonics Level 2 certification as of February 2023, and have been loving teaching at Pilates in Guelph since then!
I believe that Pilates is a powerful tool that allows a person to build strength, safety, and confidence in their body, helping reconnect to ease of movement, to joy, and to a sense of selfhood. I teach because I love movement, and having a job that allows me to share my love of movement with others makes me really happy.
I will be reentering my academic studies in the fall of 2023 with the long-term goal of working as a Physiotherapist, and am excited to continue teaching at Pilates in Guelph during the course of my degree!

Laura Sparks
Pilates is my passion. It helps me feel stronger, more focused, empowered and happier
My journey in movement education began at the age of 16 in aquatics. After completing my undergrad at Lakehead University, I realised I needed to pursue an active career and I took the Professional Personal Training Diploma at Ryerson and CPTN Personal Training Certification. After the birth of my daughters, I started taking Pilates classes at my local YMCA. Pilates pulled me out of postpartum blues and ignited a new spark in the workouts I was creating for clients as a personal trainer. My pilates instructor at the time encouraged me to go to Body Harmonics where I was lucky enough to train with Margot McKinnon for my Level One Mat Certification. Shortly after becoming a mat instructor I also discovered Caitlin and her team here at Pilates in Guelph.
After Personal Training many years in Private, Non Profit and Corporate Clubs I started my own travelling Personal Training business in Cambridge in September of 2007. During the pandemic my business became 100% Zoom Pilates classes and I still teach those people via zoom 5 times a week. By the end of the pandemic I felt I needed more positive energy around me and more pilates.
That is why I am so happy to have recently joined this amazing team here at Pilates in Guelph where I continue to learn and get to share my passion for moving well. My goal is to help people be their best by teaching them how to get the best from their bodies. I hope I can help you love pilates as much as I do.
