Pilates Level 1: Mat lays the groundwork for our Pilates Comprehensive Track. Over four modules, you learn the roots of Pilates, key human movement principles and how to teach 75 mat exercises—from the Body Harmonics Foundations to the advanced Pilates Classical repertoire. Included are our cueing formula™ and progressive sequencing™ methodologies which are designed to help you teach Pilates mat sequences and classes that are accessible, adaptable and challenging.

The content in Pilates Level 1: Mat is designed to deepen your knowledge of human movement and increase your skill set so that you may apply it to teaching both in-person and online.

  • Master the complete Pilates mat repertoire including Foundations and Classics

    Practise our unique cueing formula™ and progressive sequencing™

    Learn the art of versatile class design practices to develop mat classes for beginner, intermediate and advanced levels

    Gain an understanding of core stabilization systems

    The program content progresses from one module to the next. As a result, modules must be completed in sequential order to make your learning experience complete and meaningful. To fully benefit from the program, it is in your best interest to commit to the entire time frame. If you happen to miss an hour or more, Caitlin Bovee will assist you with scheduling a private tutorial to make up the missed hours. This private tutorial is an extra cost, and should be completed prior to re-joining the program

    Included in this course will be a recorded video of all exercises for you to review when not at the studio. Access to all lectures recorded for the duration of the course.

  • The self-practice component consists of practicing on a reformer—on your own or with your peers. It may also include taking Pilates mat or machine classes at the location where you are taking your program.

Level 3: Cadillac, Chair, Springboard and Barrels - 270 hours

Our Pilates Level 3: CCSB curriculum is available in two formats. The modular format takes place on four separate weekends over a period of four months. The express format is an 11-day continuous immersion program that covers the same content.

    Explore advanced clinical Pilates & Movement protocols for working one-on-one

    Refine class design practices for the group machine class environment

    Develop practical applications for functional anatomy related to the lumbopelvic complex, the four regions of the spine and the shoulder complex
